Sonner Winning Streak Stopped at 13

It was bound to happen at some point. The Sooner baseball team failed to finish the sweep of Kansas on Sunday and saw their 13 game winning streak snapped.

After winning both games of a two game set on Saturday (11-9, 17-2) the Sooners lost for the first time since April 7th when they fell 7-5 to the Jayhawks in Lawrence.

“At some point during a long winning streak you are going to run into a great pitching performance and that is what happened to us today.” Said OU head coach Sunny Galloway. “I thought Kodiak Quick was very good at hitting his spots and keeping our hitters off balance.”
