Sheep! That’s all I can think of when I look at the college football polls and see USC at #1. Don’t get me wrong because I think that the Trojans are really good but like everyone else in the Top 5 they didn’t play anyone. Of course that’s the way its supposed to be early in the college football season and that’s also what causes the problems with polls. Because USC beat a cupcake with a better name brand than anyone else in the top five America is suddenly drooling all over them.
The Trojans may turn out to truly be the best team in the country but does blowing out a middle of the pack ACC team justify it after just one week? Seriously, who’s putting stock in the ACC right now?
