The Hornets led 30-23 after the first period, but was outscored 56-34 during the second and third periods. Jamaal Magloire scored 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds for the Hornets. Dwight Howard had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead the Magic.
Next up for the Hornets is their first home game in OKC against the Atlanta Hawks, Tuesday night.
