Big Ben Out against Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins open their season at Pittsburgh on Thursday night but they will have to game plan for Charlie Batch instead of Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben was hospitalized on Sunday and underwent and emergency appendectomy.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t disappointed that Big Ben won’t be on the field Thursday night. While I want the Dolphins to have every advantage they can get I don’t want the defending Super Bowl Champions to have an excuse either.
