With the dismissal of quarterback Rhett Bomar the success of the Sooner offense falls solely on the shoulders of All-American running back Adrian Peterson. Peterson was in high spirits before the Bomar scandal (as seen on ESPN) and remains high spirited after.

Anyone who thinks the 06 Sooner football team is doomed because of Bomar’s idiocy better think again. Paul Thompson is more than capable and neither of the ejected players played for the defense.
