Here is a look at our four Heisman candidates and their stats so far this year. My Opinion on sports viewers will vote next month for the My Opinion on Sports Heisman Trophy.

1. Most Deserving – Vince Young (QB) Texas – 16-27 298 yards 2 TD’s, 8 rushes 53 yards.
Overall Stats – 136-217 2133 yards, 18 TD’s, 8 INT’s, 111 rushes 778 yards, 8 TD’s.

2. Close Second – Matt Leinart (QB) USC – 22-28 259 yards, 4TD’s
Overall Stats – 191-286 2772 yards, 23 TD’s, 6 INT’s. 2 rushing TD’s

3. Moving Back Up - Reggie Bush (RB) USC – 12 rushes 113 yards 1 TD, 4 receptions 27 yards
Overall Stats - 123 carries 1022 yards, 10 TD’s, 27 receptions 311 yards 2 TD’s.

4. Holding Steady – Cody Hodges (QB) Texas Tech – 29-44 408 yards 2 TD’s, 1 INT Overall Stats – 285-420 3502 yards, 27 TD’S, 9 INT’s.
