NBA free agent Randolph Morris is becoming more and more coveted each day by teams all across the league. He could sign an NBA contract today and be playing in a city near you tomorrow night. The problem is that his current team, the Kentucky Wildcats, would like him to stay exactly where he is at least until April 2.
Morris entered the 2005 NBA draft but went un-drafted and wound up back at Kentucky for his sophomore season. The NBA’s current collective bargaining agreement prohibits Morris from re-entering the draft and his dominant play this season has put him in the unique position of being the NBA’s most sought after free agent even though he is still in college.
Can you get any bigger than Ohio State’s Greg Oden? The 7-1, 255 pound freshman was a perfect 8-8 from the floor Saturday adding 4 rebounds, 2 steals, an assist and 3 blocks to his box score.
The top spot is up for grabs in my opinion. I think that any one of my top four teams could be ranked first. Anyway, here’s how I rank the top 10 this week.
1. UCLA
2. Pittsburgh
3. Ohio St.
4. Florida
5. North Carolina
6. Duke
7. Wisconsin
8. Wichita St.
9 Alabama
10. Kansas
