College football’s first weekend opened America’s eyes to some harsh realizations. Among them is the fact that Notre Dame is a bad football team! Offensively the Irish tried three quarterbacks who combined for 130 passing yards and three points against Georgia Tech prompting head coach Charlie Weis to name true freshman Jimmy Clausen the starting quarterback for this Saturday’s game at Penn State.
This is the right move for Notre Dane for the long term because nothing is really going to help them in the short term.
