Two Records/Two Styles

Houston Astros’ second baseman Craig Biggio became Major League Baseball’s 27th player to reach the 3,000 hit mark Thursday the same day Frank Thomas, of the Toronto Blue Jays, became just the 21st member of the 500 homerun club.

While the two accomplishments are extremely different the styles of the two men who reached the milestones are just as different. Biggio left the field to a stadium chanting his name while Thomas left under the order of home plate umpire Mark Wegner.
