Rockie Road

Is it possible that the Colorado Rockies are playing the best baseball in the majors right now? The New York Yankees think so, "I don't want to see them again, how's that?" Yankee manager Joe Torre said.


The Rockies are only four games above .500 but since May 22 Colorado has posted a 20-7 record and are 9-3 against the AL East in interleague play. The New York Yankees scored only 5 runs in three games during the visit to Colorado while watching the Rockies more than double their effort by putting out 13 in route to sweeping the Bronx Bombers.
