The Heisman trophy will be given away Saturday night in New York City and while there are four candidates who believe they legitimately deserve the coveted trophy but three are going to be walking away empty handed and broken hearted. Here’s my breakdown of the candidates from least to most deserving.
Quarterback Chase Daniel (Jr.), Missouri Tigers
Reason For Being Invited – Daniel led the Tigers to a 10-2 record and a Big 12 North title. He finished 5th in the nation in passing yards (4,170) and 6th in touchdowns (33). Chase Daniel averaged 320.8 passing yards per game with a 7.8 yard completion average.
