The economy is eventually going to turn around. It’s just waiting for it to that’s the hard part. What Americans need to do now, more than ever in my lifetime, is stop spending and save. Bad loans and meaningless overspending is what has caused us to arrive at such a low point in the economy.
The best recommendation is to create a saving account separate from your normal banking accounts. Make it difficult to withdrawal money but fairly easy to make deposits. There are many options out there for this including an Online Savings Account.
